Meet the Riverside Team Behind Lodgewick ADU Riverside
A lodge is a small house on a larger property, which is exactly what an ADU is. That idea shapes who we hire and how we work in Riverside. We look for people who understand that building an accessory dwelling unit, a JADU, or converting a garage isn’t just framing and drywall. It’s adding a home to someone’s lot. Our crew has built ADUs in Wood Streets, Canyon Crest, La Sierra, and Orangecrest. What ties them together is simple: they say the price before the work, show up in the window given, leave the place cleaner than they found it, and back everything with the 365-Day Done Right Promise, in writing, on every single project. No exceptions.
Our People

Marcus T. – Lead ADU Technician
Marcus has been building accessory dwelling units and garage conversions in Riverside County for 14 years, the last six with Lodgewick. He’s our lead on detached ADUs and the person who walks every lot before a written price is ever put in front of a homeowner. Marcus carries a California General B contractor certification and has completed manufacturer training with Abodu, Cover, and Boxabl, so when a factory-built ADU shows up on a flatbed, he knows exactly how it should tie into the foundation, the electrical, and the plumbing. He’s got a habit of photographing every rough-in before drywall goes up and handing those photos to the homeowner at the final walkthrough. When he’s not on a job site in Riverside, he’s usually restoring an old Chevy C10 in his garage. Slowly.
Dana R. – Senior Installer, Garage Conversions
Dana runs our garage conversion and JADU work. She started in residential framing 11 years ago and moved into ADU-specific construction because, in her words, converting a two-car garage into a one-bedroom unit is more interesting than building a box. She knows Riverside’s older housing stock well, which matters a lot. A garage built in 1962 in Magnolia Center has different slab conditions than a garage in a Mission Grove tract home from the 1990s, and Dana can spot a slab moisture problem before a single wall goes up. She’s certified in James Hardie siding installation and leads our Tuff Shed-to-ADU finish work. She keeps a notebook on every job and writes down every promise made to a homeowner, then checks them off one by one. Her standard for a clean job site is exact: nothing on the ground at the end of the day that wasn’t there at seven that morning.
Luis V. – Service Coordinator
Luis is the human being who answers the phone at Lodgewick ADU Riverside. Not a voicemail, not a chatbot. A live person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. He’s been with us for eight years and probably knows more about Riverside ADU permitting than most contractors do. If you call and ask about setback requirements, lot coverage rules, or what the City of Riverside’s ADU pre-approved plan program actually means for your timeline, Luis can talk you through it. He coordinates every arrival window, every inspection schedule, and every warranty call. Luis is the reason a homeowner never has to repeat their story twice. He’s also the guy who remembers your dog’s name and asks about it on the second call. Some people think that’s small. It isn’t.
Elena M. – Apprentice Installer
Elena is the newest member of our Riverside crew, two years in and already the one who gets handed the hard layout work. She’s apprenticed under Marcus and Dana and is in the middle of her trade school program, working toward her own contractor’s license. Right now she’s the person you’ll see pulling precise slab measurements and checking that every wall, corner, and window opening is square to within an eighth of an inch. She works mostly on new-build ADUs, which is different from garage conversions because you’re setting forms and pouring fresh concrete instead of working with what’s already there. Elena grew up in Riverside and went to Poly High, so when she says she wants to build ADUs that make it possible for her neighbors’ parents to live close by, she’s not being sentimental. She’s being practical. That’s the whole point of an ADU.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this crew operates under The Kingswell Guarantee, and around here we call that The Kingswell Way. It’s not a poster in the break room. It’s five things, done every time: we say the price before the work starts, in writing, with no price changes at the door. We show up in the window we gave you. We leave your property cleaner than we found it, every day, not just on the last day. We put the guarantee in writing before the first nail goes in. And if the work fails within the 365-day gone right promise period, we come back and make it right, free. Russ Delmar, Owner at Lodgewick ADU Riverside, holds every crew member to that standard, including himself. If you work with us, you’ll meet these people. You’ll know their names. And you’ll know exactly what they promised you, because it’ll be on paper.
